Become a Living Food Chef !

In order to discover the mysteries of optimal health and to learn the principles behind living foods, Crudessence opens the doors of its kitchen on the Plateau Mont-Royal and teaches the Art of feeding Life!

You will learn how to make nut milks, green juices, entrees (lasagna, quiche, sushi or something else), nut cheeses, dehydrated crackers and fabulous desserts without cooking!  A culinary adventure of a human scale, nourishing the appetite and the spirit.

On top of the recipes, you will also discuss the following theoretical aspects:

  • the power of green
  • basic elements of living gastronomy
  • the attitude of the creative chef
  • the subtle aspect of food

Crudessence's founding chefs, Mathieu and David are self-taught, inspired by their travels and personal studies. They have come to push the limits of living food, melting down the old dogmas of rigid diets, demystifying proteins and recentering us on the simplicity of life.

    We offer a wide selection of basics courses, from courses on desserts, to courses on fermentation and some on how to prepare nut milks, juices and smoothies with your blender. Everything you need to make you feel confident about including living foods in your healthy lifestyle.

    In these full day workshops, explore the philosophy and science behind the living foods lifestyle. It's not just what you eat that counts, it's when and how much. Understand why the living foods lifestyle has become so popular and what it can do for your health and energy. Through small group discussions, dynamic presentations and living foods preparation, you'll understand the essence behind Crudessence in a whole new way.
